Bear-Hill Interiors may be new to the blogosphere, but that doesn’t mean we’re not avid readers of many a design blog, and Habitually Chic is no exception. We love her recent post on color inspirations, “Mellow Yellow and Grey.”

You may recall that yellow was the Color of the Year for 2009 by global color authority Pantone. As the company’s executive director explained, “In a time of economic uncertainty and political change, optimism is paramount and no other color expresses hope and reassurance more than yellow. The color yellow exemplifies the warmth and nurturing quality of the sun, properties we as humans are naturally drawn to for reassurance.”
