We are heading to the beach for some much needed R&R and thought we’d share with you some of our favorite beach houses in Florida, many of which are located in beautiful Seaside Florida!

Seaside, located on the Florida panhandle, is one of the first cities in America designed on the principles of New Urbanism. The city was also the backdrop for the Jim Carrey movie The Truman Show.

Seaside is known for their beautiful pastel houses and picket fences.

 

The architecture of Seaside is similar in style to many beach towns in the Southeast.

One of the differences though is the ease of which vacationers and homeowners can get around town with just a bike.

Porches are a must and are often the gathering place for friends and family after a long day at the beach.
